When Times are Tough, It is Time to Have Some Fun

Dr. Molly Barrow and friends enjoy a ride on Cole Brothers Circus of the Stars' prize elephant.
Since the market crash, the housing crash and the confidence crash, life in America has been rather dreary this year with job lossess and foreclosures.
Part of coming back strong as a nation requires all of us to step away from depression and to start laughing out loud. With our spirits and attitude renewed we are in a much better place to think ourselves out of this tight economy. Your brain will work better if you take even a mini-vacation from stress. You really can put all the stress down for a little while and remember what it is like to have fun. An inventive solution to your problems may just be a Circus or a chuckle away.
Hopefully these beautiful animals are treated well by the Cole Bothers staff.

Cool the Planet with Vegetables?

The new book "Eating Animals is an intelligent exploration of the moral and environmental effects of meat-eating. The book offers an impassioned argument against animal cruelty and for a more informed, responsible relationship with our food.

Did you know that animal agriculture makes a 40% greater contribution to global warming than all transportation in the world combined? Making a different choice for dinner is the most powerful individual thing we can do to reduce global warming."
